Pitway Independent Living Scheme – South Petherton
Customers at Pitway expressed a clear desire for a flat, accessible outdoor space where they could sit together and enjoy the view. Through consultation, it became evident that a level access patio would significantly enhance their quality of life.
Thanks to our grounds maintenance team and with support from Social Value Funding, we were able to deliver exactly what the customers asked for.
The new patio area is now complete, and outdoor furniture has been delivered to make the space welcoming and functional. Customers are thrilled to have a place where they can gather over coffee and enjoy the outdoors together.

Hesketh House – Southampton
At Hesketh House, customers raised concerns about an old, ivy-covered shed that had become an eyesore and no longer served its purpose. They requested an upgrade—and we listened.
Our repairs team removed the old shed was removed and replaced with a brand-new one. The transformation has not only improved the appearance of the outdoor area but also provided safe, practical storage for gardening tools and equipment.
This upgrade has given a real boost to the scheme’s gardening club, encouraging more customers to get involved and enjoy the green space together. The garden has flourished this summer, and customers have shared how pleased they are with the improvements.
