Castle Park View utility bills

We are working with billing agent Switch 2. They will be sending out a full welcome pack to customers that explains how bills will be calculated. You can find estimates for your utility costs below and a guide for calculating your own utility costs with meter readings.

For energy usage, we'd suggest looking at the average energy costs shared by British Gas on their website:

Please note these guides provide average estimates, and the actual figure might be different.

Switch 2 will be able to start issuing you with utility bills for the period from 1 April 2024 once they have collected the data needed.

If you’re worried about the additional outgoings each month, we’re here to help and have lots of support available. Our online Cost-of-Living hub has a lot of support and guidance, including:

• calculators to check what welfare benefits you might be entitled to. You can also check your pension and state pension allowances
• information on local food saving schemes, including community pantries, mobile pantries and supermarket discount schemes

If you are concerned about payments you will be able to contact Switch 2 and agree a reasonable payment plan based on your individual circumstances.

Abri will be using billing agent Switch 2 to manage utility billing and payments from customers.

Castle Park View is connected to the district heat network. This means that we’re part of a city-wide heating system and we can’t choose our own heating provider. This was part of the planning condition when Castle Park View was built.

Yes you will be able to take your own meter readings and you will only be charged for your usage, plus any standing charge.
