Who we are

Wayfarer represents the ownership or management of more than 100,000 affordable homes throughout the south of England.

Working collaboratively, Wayfarer knows how to position bids for grants so that they have the best possible chances of securing Homes England funding. We’ve been doing this successfully for over 20 years helping to secure grants in excess of £371 million and delivering over 12,800 homes.

We advise on best practice and areas of opportunity and contribute to emerging government policy, working collaboratively with both public and private sectors to build the affordable homes we need.

Comprising housing associations, local authorities and charitable partners, we’re committed to providing a secure home for everyone, that meets their individual needs and choices.

Our purpose

We can achieve more in partnership and by working with our members we’re increasing housing delivery and helping our partners deliver to their maximum capacity. We do this by supporting our partners through increased engagement with each other, with Homes England, and with external stakeholders and through increased value added services.
