Introducing the new Housing Perks app!
We know how important it is to make your money go further, especially with the cost of living still rising. That’s why we’re excited to launch Housing Perks, a brand-new money-saving app available, for free.
With the Housing Perks app, you can access discounts of up to 20% at over 100 of your favourite shops — including ASDA, B&M, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Primark, Argos, TK Maxx and many more.
And the best bit? Your savings can be used towards your rent payments.
This offer is available to all customers with an Abri Tenancy Reference Number.
Getting set up
How to sign up
- You can download the app here or by searching “Housing Perks” on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
- Enter your mobile number.
- You will be sent a One Time Passcode to confirm your mobile number and access the Housing Perks App.
- Select Abri from the list of Housing Associations.
- Enter your tenancy reference number. You can find this number at the top of any letters we send you or in the profile section of your My Abri account.
- Get access to discounts, cashback and free items instantly.
Do I need to pay for the app?
The app is completely free. You can download on your device free of charge and no fee for usage.
Can I sign up even if my tenancy/lease has ended?
The app is only available to Abri customers with Tenancy Reference Numbers.
Why are you offering the Housing Perks app?
We want to support you with the cost of living. The app comes at no cost to you and you can put your discount towards your rent every week. The app is one of the many ways we’re here to help during challenging times.
How much do I need to spend to use the app?
There is no minimum amount that you need to spend.
Using your vouchers
How will the discounts go towards my rent?
You can choose to use your discount to go towards your rent account. Let’s say for example:
- Curry’s are offering a 4% discount and you buy a voucher worth £100
- you can choose to buy it for a discounted price of £96
- OR you can pay the full £100 and the 4% saving (£4) will go towards your rent payments
Housing Perks will then send us the ‘rent’ each Friday and this will then be credited to your account.
If I have a £10 voucher and I spend £5, do I lose £5?
No. When you purchase a voucher you can use it as many times as you like until it's empty.
I usually pay by direct debit; can I still choose to use my discounts towards my rent?
Whether you pay by Direct Debit or receive housing benefit payments, discounts on Housing Perks will work the same way for all our customers. At the end of the week, any savings you have will be credited to your account.
I’m not the best at using technology, can I print my vouchers?
Discounted vouchers can be printed. If you know someone who knows how to use a smart phone they can always purchase and print off vouchers for you.

My Privacy
Will Abri share my personal details with Housing Perks?
You don’t need to share your name or address. The only information you’ll need to provide, in order to access the discounts available through Housing Perks, is your unique tenancy reference number. You can find this number at the top of any letters we send you or in the profile section of your My Abri account.
To buy vouchers you’ll need to enter payment details unless you use Apple Pay or Google Pay.
What information will Abri be able to see?
We want the app to be a positive experience for you, so we can only see the total amount all of our customers have spent, as a whole, in different shops.
We can’t see your individual spending.
How long will this offer be available?
Housing Perks will be available to you for a one-year pilot. Over the year we’ll want to get feedback from you about your experience. We’ll review the programme at the end of the year and keep you updated with what happens next.
