Abri, one of the south’s largest housing providers, has successfully applied to join Homes England’s Delivery Partner Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for small sites.
Homes England is one of the largest vendors of residential land and the DPS is one of their main routes for land disposal. Being accepted onto the DPS will allow Abri to bid directly for sites owned by the government’s housing delivery agency. Abri now joins a preferred list of developers and housebuilders on the framework. Other public bodies may also use the DPS to procure developers, broadening the possibility for Abri to partner on potential projects.
Sam Stone, Associate Director of Land and Planning at Abri said:
“To be accepted onto Homes England’s DPS for small sites is good news for Abri and is a positive step forward and recognition of our ability to deliver good quality homes. The framework will give us greater exposure to potential sites where we can add value to communities and provide more affordable homes that are so essential, especially with the increased cost of living.
“Abri is committed to building at least 1,000 homes a year by 2030 and being added to the DPS will help us in achieving that goal by identifying new land opportunities and speeding up delivery. Thank you to Homes England for accepting us onto the framework and we look forward to building more good quality, warm and sustainable homes in areas where they’re needed most.”
