Today the government removed all remaining legal Covid restrictions in England. But guidance remains in place. Abri will continue to take steps to keep you safe in your home.
We’ve asked colleagues to continue wearing appropriate safety equipment, test and isolate
To keep you safe when carrying out our services we have asked Abri colleagues to:
- Wear the appropriate Covid-19 related safety equipment
- Take a Covid-19 test before entering a care-related property
- Wear a face covering in enclosed or crowded public places
- Stay at home if they feel unwell for any reason (to avoid the spread of infections like Covid-19, colds and flu), but especially if they have a high temperature, new continuous cough or experience a loss or change to their sense of smell or taste
- Stay at home for five full days and avoid contact with others if they test positive
- Wait for two negative lateral flow tests before leaving isolation. If they continue to test positive, they must stay isolated until day ten.
Please continue to tell us if you are isolating and we will rearrange your appointment.
Please continue to follow government guidance to reduce the spread of Covid-19
Although the government has removed its laws, they still recommend that you:
- Get tested if you have Covid-19 symptoms
- Stay at home and avoid contact with others for at least five full dates if you test positive
- Let fresh air in if meeting indoors, or meet outside
- Consider wearing a face covering in crowded, enclosed spaces
- Continue to practise good hygiene by regularly washing your hands and using sanitiser
- Continue to accept the vaccinations that are offered to protect you and your community.
We’ll continue to keep all our measures under review and may need to reintroduce measures in future, for example if a new variant is discovered that is cause for concern.
