Radian and Yarlington confirm new Partnership
Housing providers Radian and Yarlington have confirmed they have entered into a new partnership, creating an organisation that manages 38,000 homes and assets, with 79,000 customers living in their homes across the south and south west of England.
The partnership will bring together an experienced team from across Radian and Yarlington to create an outstanding new organisation that will provide more homes, support and services to its customers and the communities in which it works.
The expertise within the new organisation, that covers 36 local authority areas, will allow it to develop new strategic partnerships with organisations that share its values both locally and nationally.
By working together, the combined organisation will be able to deliver an additional 10,000 homes over the next 10 years.
The new organisation will be able to invest more in the communities in which it works, contributing additional resources to homelessness prevention and rolling out new digital services for its customers.
From 4 November 2019, Yarlington will become a subsidiary of Radian Group, with both organisations operating with a shared Board, Executive and senior leadership team.
Gary Orr, currently Chief Executive of Radian, has been appointed Group Chief Executive of Radian Group.

“Having embarked on initial discussions earlier this year, it became evident through a period of thorough consultation and due diligence that we could provide an even better service for our customers by forming this new company. Combining our skills and resources means we can further increase our programme of new homes delivery, but at the heart of all this our commitment to our customers and our social purpose remains unchanged.
“We will continue to provide homes to those who are in need of affordable housing, whilst offering the opportunity of home ownership to those who would otherwise be unable to afford it. At the same time, we will continue to support the communities in which we work by facilitating access to employment opportunities and training, whilst improving our digital services.”
The new organisation will retain the customer-focussed approach and social purpose of its predecessors while drawing on the experience of both Radian and Yarlington to continue to deliver a bespoke customer experience that empowers people and maximises their potential.
