Abri has been awarded a G1/V1 rating from the Regulator for Social Housing following its first in-depth assessment (IDA). This is the highest rating a housing association can achieve with a G1 for governance and V1 for financial viability.
As one of the South of England’s largest housing providers with more than 35,000 homes, this was Abri’s first IDA since it was formed out of a partnership between Radian and Yarlington in 2019. The outcome confirms the regulator’s confidence in Abri’s financial plans, corporate strategy and the way it manages its business.
Gary Orr, Group Chief Executive at Abri said:
“We’re pleased to be recognised by the Regulator as a strong organisation in terms of both our governance and financial viability. Our Board and all of our colleagues at Abri have worked hard in our first 15 months as a new organisation and an In Depth Assessment was a very welcome and timely external test for the new organisation”.
“Our focus is on delivering at least 1,000 new homes each year and providing excellent customer service across all our services at this challenging time.”
