Earlier in the year we told you about our Community Fund. With it, local groups and organisations bring projects to life that benefit people living in their area.
Applications are now open for people living in Yeovil and Chard. There’s still time to apply for the Community Fund if you have a project or idea that needs an extra boost as the deadline has been extended to Friday 18 December.
The Community Fund will be allocated to any community and grass roots groups or organisations aiming to help local people. This could include:
- Health and wellbeing initiatives
- Combatting isolation during the Christmas period
- Supporting the community’s covid recovery
You might be a food bank, community centre, social enterprise, or charity. Whatever you do, as long as it aims to help the people living in your area, we want to hear from you.
You can apply for up to £3,000 to help you deliver your project, helping to make a great difference in your community.
