We've been working with the Pantry Partnership to support families in Salisbury.
Thanks to the support of the Pantry Partnership, we've been able to support a total of 35 families in the community of Longhedge, Salisbury providing them with food parcels.
The Pantry Partnership put together food parcels from surplus food, which have then been distributed to residents. The Pantry Partnership will be supporting these residents later in the year by running cooking sessions on a budget and helping residents get creative and confident in the kitchen.
One of the residents commented:
"I love the food parcels! Tons of food options and lots of veg. I would say it’s encouraged me to try new things and veg I wouldn’t usually try.I’ve tried lots of new recipes and have gone out of my comfort zone! The food bags have kept me afloat even if I’m having fried veg with bread it really has helped!"
