About Birchfield
Birchfield is a well-established neighbourhood in east Yeovil and home to around 800 Abri properties. The area benefits from local amenities, green spaces, a primary school, GP surgery and strong community assets, including Birchfield Community Centre and plans for a new community hub at St Michael's Church. With active local organisations and welcoming public spaces, Birchfield has strong foundations for residents to connect, thrive and shape the future of their community.

You said, we did
You said: We’d like to build stronger communities through local key assets within the area.
We did: We’ve been supporting the Birchfield community lunches at the Birchfield community centre to widen our understanding of local issues. We’re also exploring providing funding to St Michael’s Church, which will help with the opening of their new community hub. This new space will allow for better collaboration and accessible to support for more people.
