About Clewer & Dedworth
Clewer & Dedworth is within the Royal borough of Windsor & Maidenhead, which is a very affluent area but with pockets of deprivation, such as in this Community Investment Zone. Clewer & Dedworth houses the Sawyers Close flagship regeneration project which will see the 192 flats replaced by 413 new, affordable homes.

Who is your Community Development Officer?
Danielle Welburn is your Community Development Officer for Dedworth and Clewer, and for the regeneration of Sawyers Close.

You said, we did
You said: More community activities celebrating diversity were needed.
We did: We funded Cultural Kitchen workshops celebrating different cultures and traditions from the community space.
You said: The community room at Sawyers Close needed to appeal to a wider demographic, including young people.
We did: We secured just under £10,000 in social value procurement funding to improve the appeal of the community room, this included an interior designer, new flooring and redecoration, and a display of artwork from local residents.
