Background
At Goldwell Farm in Crewkerne, we’re building 67 new affordable homes for local people in partnership with Allison Homes South West. The development will provide 100% affordable housing, helping to meet local demand for homes in Somerset, where more than 13,000 households are currently on the waiting list for social housing. The homes will be allocated through the council’s housing register, prioritising people with the greatest housing need and a strong local connection.
To help reduce household bills and support more sustainable living, the homes will be highly energy efficient, with enhanced insulation and air source heat pumps. The development will also include native landscaping and sustainable drainage features to support biodiversity and climate resilience.
