Background
At the former St James’ Hospital site in Portsmouth, we’re delivering 58 new affordable homes in partnership with Vistry. The development will provide 100% affordable housing, helping to meet local housing need in the city. The homes will offer a mix of two, three and four-bedroom properties, creating high-quality homes for local families.
To help reduce household bills and support sustainable living, the homes will be fully electric and include electric vehicle charging points. Most of the homes will also be built using timber-frame construction, supporting a more efficient building process. The development will feature a central green space, known as ‘Orchard Park’, creating additional community and environmental benefits for residents.
