Station Road, Hungerford

At Station Road, we’re building 42 new affordable homes for local residents on a former brownfield site in Hungerford.

The development will provide one-and two-bedroom homes for social rent, prioritised for households on the council’s housing register, where more than 1,000 families are waiting for affordable housing in West Berkshire. Social rent homes are let at rents set by government guidelines, usually around 50% of local market rates. Abri will use its own funding, alongside grant funding from Homes England, the government’s housing and regeneration agency, to make all the homes affordable.

To help reduce household bills, the new homes will include energy saving features designed including solar panels, air source heat pumps and electric vehicle charging points.
