Abri, one of the South’s leading housing providers, has completed the final stage of its planned group restructure to optimise capacity and reduce complexity. With 80,000 customers across some 35,000 homes Abri has plans to build at least 10,000 high quality and sustainable homes by 2030.
On 30 June 2021, Yarlington Housing Group was transferred into Abri Group limited, the final part of the process to simplify its group structure. This was an important milestone on Abri’s integration journey since its formation in November 2019 when Radian and Yarlington came together.
Vimal Gaglani, Director of Treasury and Financial Planning at Abri said:
“The final part of this group restructure is now complete with the last stage of this restructure seeing the principle activities of Yarlington Housing Group transfer in to Abri Group limited. The number of Registered Providers in the Abri Group has now been significantly reduced giving us a simpler group structure. This final change, along with combining existing loan agreements into fewer entities will allow us the ability to build more sustainable homes and focus on decarbonising existing stock.”
